Oom Hannes, his wife and little Christiaan moved into their house in 1943. They were proud of their brand new house, dreaming of growing old together in their little piece of heaven.

But this beautiful house has been empty for the last 30 years. With only the memories of Oom Hannes and his family.

Their house never lost its charm and beauty. With ivy and wild fig trees growing along the walls, and wallpaper pealing from the walls, it created a new identity of mystery and uniqueness.

With a fire almost destroying the house a few years ago, and curious thieves stripping it off wires and all other metals... the foundation stood firm and not it is time to awake again.

We are sure that Vygekraal House will play host to some romantic events, again filling with new memories.
